Lulu

The canopy rustles and sways in the breeze. Sun shines through parted leaves and dappled light dances across the forest floor. There is a sparkle of red and fairy Lulu’s little paws pounce! A spring of fresh shiny berries, what a prize! She picks them up gingerly with her mouth and excitedly trots off back to her den. She treds lightly, picking a slightly different route to last time so as not to wear a path. She paws aside the curtain of vines concealing her secret lair and climbs in.  Inside is a beautiful collection of little trinkets all carefully arranged. Feathers, pine cones, snail shells, seed pods, pebbles, and more! She takes her time finding a home for the berries and finally finds the perfect spot where the light hits them just right. With a satisfied little sigh she curls up and settles in for a well earned nap after another successful day’s hunt.
